Kenworth of Buffalo has opened a full-service facility for the Albany area in Colonie, N.Y., that is accessible from the U.S. Interstate 87 and 90 interchange. The 30,000-square-foot Kenworth of Buffalo-Albany facility is located on 5½ acres at 5 Fritz Blvd. in Colonie.
“Kenworth of Buffalo is dedicated to providing outstanding support to customers at our four facilities in New York state,” says Dennis Dintino, dealer principal of Kenworth Buffalo, which also operates locations in Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse. “With this latest expansion, we’re pleased to bring quality Kenworth trucks, parts and service to truck fleets and operators in the Albany area.”
The dealership features six drive-in bays along with two drive-thru bays. The service department has the capacity to work on 18 tractors simultaneously. One bay is dedicated to providing Kenworth PremierCare ExpressLube services. The 800-square-foot parts show room is complemented with a 4,000-square-foot parts warehouse. The new location also offers parts delivery service and a drivers’ lounge.
“Our new facility sits on a large area with plenty of space for truck drivers to maneuver and park their trucks and trailers,” says Richard Cone, branch manager for Kenworth of Buffalo-Albany. “The park-like surroundings make the new location an attractive place. And the unique shop layout gives our service department a more efficient workspace, which means faster service for our customers.”
