Hyundai Translead, a manufacturer of dry and refrigerated van trailers, domestic containers, container chassis and converter dollies, has announced Kenny Lee as its new president and chief executive officer. Lee has 30 years of expertise in international business and Hyundai Motors global operation.

Lee began his career with Hyundai Precision Co. Ltd. in 1982. He joined Hyundai Precision America in 1991, which later became Hyundai Translead, and served as the general manager of sales for three years. Subsequently, he held various management positions with Kia Motors over a 13-year span, including position as the president of Kia Motors Spain, president of Kia Motors Latin America and Caribbean Regional Head Office, and senior vice president of Kia Motors Europe Operation Division.

Lee says his vision and strategic plan for Hyundai Translead includes pursuing absolute product quality, improving customer service through comprehensive aftermarket and warranty services, expanding the HT dealer network and developing delivery opportunities in the United States. Lee says he also is strongly committed to promoting a safe and efficient work environment at the manufacturing plant, as well as implementing new and existing companywide green sustainability initiatives.

Lee says he hopes that Hyundai Motor’s global position, in conjunction with Hyundai Translead’s strong presence in the U.S. transportation industry, will create positive synergy to better serve its customers.
