TMW Systems, a provider of transportation management software, announced that the company has expanded its office space in Northeast Ohio, adding square footage in the Science Park campus, two miles from its present Chagrin Boulevard site. The new space will serve as the new corporate headquarters facility, occupied by the executive management team, corporate administrative services and an expanded research and development organization.

TMW says the facility expansion is the result of a 40 percent revenue compound annual growth rate over the past five years and aggressive hiring to support the growth in new customers and forecasted business. “Northeast Ohio is home,” says David Wangler, president and chief executive officer. “It is where we started in 1983. We continue to find an educated, highly skilled work force and operate in an environment conducive to running a successful high-tech business.”

TMW retains its more than 32,000 square feet of office space at the TMW Technology Plaza location in Beachwood. That facility is dedicated to research and development, quality assurance and customer support activities as one of the firm’s seven Software Solution Centers in North America. TMW says it hired more than 100 individuals during 2011, mostly in Northeast Ohio, pushing the total employee count to just shy of 500.
