TRW Commercial Steering Systems, a provider of power steering gears and pumps, seal kits and remanufactured steering gears, announced it expansion into the independent heavy-duty aftermarket to allow distributors to receive supply directly from TRW without having to rely on additional channels of distribution.
“Our focus on expanding channels of distribution through the independent heavy-duty aftermarket provides our end customers with additional supply channel options and enables them to receive the high-quality products and services they require from leading, trusted distributors, maximizing vehicle uptime,” says John M. Nielsen, vice president and general manager, North America parts and service, TRW Automotive.
TRW says it already has established relationships with major distributors and currently is working to partner with additional ones. Distributors will stock and sell TRW remanufactured steering gear assemblies.
