Pegasus TransTech announced that it has upgraded its Transflo $Velocity software with the introduction of Version 2.5, further simplifying the relationship between freight brokers and carriers. Transflo $Velocity is designed to go one step beyond traditional EDI to provide a simple but comprehensive standard for exchanging both data and images. According to the company, Release 2.5 makes it easier and more automated for carriers to bill and for brokers to process their transactions electronically.

“Our small fleet customers told us they wanted a simple electronic standard that did not require portal training for every business relationship they had in brokerage,” says Bob Helms, chairman and chief executive officer of Pegasus TransTech. “Our large fleet customers requested electronic transmission of both data and images to brokers that could replace or at least enhance EDI transactions with more complete information. Our broker customers told us they wanted to attract more capacity, grow their business efficiently and to differentiate themselves in the marketplace by becoming easier to do business with. Transflo $Velocity 2.5 helps create a competitive advantage and win/win for all parties with its new easy to use features.”
