The launch of CoPilot Truck 8 Professional for XataNet was announced during the Truckload Carriers Association 2012 Annual Convention in Kissimmee, Fla. A fully onboard navigation solution, CoPilot Truck 8 Professional calculates optimal, truck-specific routes onboard without using mobile communications or offboard computations, which ALK says ensures more reliable rapid access to offline highway and street-level digital maps.
