Airclic, a global provider of cloud-based mobility software for mobile supply chain and logistics operations, announced it has released the latest version of its Food Perform product, with enhancements for customer service and driver productivity for the food distribution industry.

Airclic says Food Perform eliminates paper manifests and facilitates clean invoicing, resulting in accelerated revenue flow and reduced days sales outstanding (DSO). With this latest product release, Food Perform now offers “Quick Turn” functionality, allowing drivers to be more efficient.

With Quick Turn, drivers who deliver multiple local routes in the same day can more efficiently reconcile deliveries, record deliveries or pick-ups at each stop, and reconcile returns before re-loading and departing on their next route. This capability ensures food distributors receive full chain of custody tracking and 100 percent accuracy on transactions, the company says.

In addition to Quick Turn, the latest product enhancements to Food Perform include:

• Exception handling for individual items on a pallet without breaking the pallet
• View weight and cube for a stop and route
• Support for variable barcode lengths
• Control over driver performance reports
• Enhanced security on integration and web services
