Mudguard granted patent for V-Flap mudflap

Mudguard Technologies announced that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has granted a utility patent for its V-Flap, an aerodynamic mudflap designed to be in unision with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Smartway program.

Mudguard says the multifunctional eco-friendly truck mudflap features aerodynamics designed to help save fuel, hydrodynamics to suppress spray and splash and a structural design to prevent sailing and to provide stronger mounting holes. V-Flap can be mounted on standard brackets without any modifications.
