Caley Edgerly has been named vice president of operations for Thomas Built Buses, where he will oversee two bus body plants, a chassis plant, a component fabrication plant and related logistics operations, including more than one million square feet of facilities and more than 1,000 employees.
Edgerly, who joined Detroit Diesel in 1994, previously served as director of product development and growth for Detroit Diesel Remanufacturing, and as general manager of Detroit Diesel Remanufacturing East. He succeeds Jeff Allen, who now serves as vice president of operations, Redford Truck Powertrain, for Detroit Diesel Corp.
