Harnessflex Specialty Conduit Systems from Thomas & Betts provides a selection of flexible conduits and connector interfaces that help protect critical electrical and electronic wiring assemblies in heavy-duty commercial vehicle applications, including bus, truck, agricultural vehicle and heavy machinery.

The product line includes conduit, hinged fittings, connector interfaces and sealed fittings. Harnessflex Specialty Conduit System components, used individually or in combination, provide protection from not only moisture but also from mechanical abrasion and corrosive salts, the company says.

“By preventing water ingress into commercial vehicle electronic systems, we can help contain the manufacturer’s warranty costs,” says Tony Kolznak, product manager for Thomas & Betts. “Commercial vehicles, such as construction and agricultural vehicles, buses and tractor-trailers, are often subjected to water and moisture, so this level of protection, which includes the entire wire harness, increases the vehicle’s reliability.”

Combining a full range of slit and unslit conduit, fittings and connectors, the Harnessflex Specialty Conduit Systems offer a large range of hinged system components and connector interfaces. Custom connector interfaces also are developed jointly with leading connector manufacturers.
