XRS Corporation, a provider of mobile fleet optimization, has signed a co-marketing agreement with Drivewyze to offer its PreClear weigh station bypass service to XRS customers. XRS customers who sign on to use the bypass service will do so at an exclusive discount.

Drivewyze PreClear provides local and long-haul carriers with weigh station and inspection site bypass opportunities at both fixed weigh stations and roadside mobile inspection sites. Drivewyze PreClear adds transponder-like functionality to tablets, smartphones and select Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs), and connects to the Drivewyze service network via a single account regardless of where a driver travels.

“With Drivewyze, we believe our customers will see an immediate cost-savings and better overall time management,” said Rob Pallante, director of business development at XRS.

Brian Heath, president of Drivewyze, said “We believe XRS customers are prime candidates for our bypass service. Both Drivewyze and XRS focus on the use of innovative, mobile technologies to improve transportation safety and efficiencies in the trucking industry.”

The Drivewyze PreClear service will be promoted to XRS customers at an exclusive price for either the multi-state or select single-state program.

Drivewyze PreClear currently operates at over 200 sites in Connecticut, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont, West Virginia and Nevada.
