Maxi-Seal Defender system protects trailer wiring from corrosion

Maxi-Seal Harness Systems, a subsidiary of Peterson Manufacturing, designed its Defender modular harness/lighting system to protect trailer wiring from corrosion. The Defender system features robust harness components and Peterson’s Piranha LED lights, all sealed against moisture and corrosion through Maxi-Seal’s proprietary Power-Seal Technology, which features a universal distribution module, heavy-duty terminals, long-life silicone seals, installation-friendly modular plugs, sealed break-out molds, .180 bullet mold design, an integrated moisture barrier, dual isolated grounding, sealed terminal rings and J560 connectors.

Piranha LED lights feature weather-sealed connectors, linear-welded lamp housing, terminations potted into housing, an acrylic DR lens and ABS housing.
