East’s all-aluminum tarp storage box for drop-deck trailers is built into the floor of the upper or lower deck, an access location that helps reduce multiple climbs up and down on the trailer to tarp the load or to store the tarp and tie-downs, which saves time and energy for both tasks and lessens the chance of accidents.
The tarp storage boxes are available in various depth configurations – depending on the drop at the neck and beam depth of the drop-deck trailer – and can be placed in either the top deck, bottom deck or both decks.
Upper-deck box dimensions are 35 inches long by 13 inches wide (maximum 22 inches deep), and lower-deck box dimensions are 49½ inches long by 42½ inches wide (maximum 21 inches deep).
