A salt truck driver in Pittsburgh had the scare of his life Monday after his truck slid off a snow-covered hillside road and crashed into a yard below.
The driver had been salting the roads in the South Side Slopes neighborhood when the Ford F-550 wouldn’t stop while traveling downhill according to wpxi.com.
The truck slid off the road, went over the top of a retaining wall and crashed grille-first into a yard below. The Pittsburgh Department of Public Works driver was said to be OK.
