AFA Industries has released in-frame overhaul kits for the Caterpillar 3406E & C15 articulated engine families. These kits were created to accommodate the increase in demand for in-frame kits without piston crowns, the company says. When re-using the piston crowns, depending on the condition of the piston skirts, there is a kit available to rebuild the 3406E or C15 engines with or without replacing the skirts.
