TL freight management software provider Carrier Logistics Inc. has rolled out a new artificial intelligence tool. The AI BOL Extraction module uses AI to extract shipment data from bills of lading and automatically populates CLI’s FACTS freight management system, creating or updating shipments in real time. Benefits include automated processing, reducing manual data entry of BOLS and accelerating shipment creation; error reduction; improved efficiency by enabling earlier optimization and dispatch; and seamless integration. RXO, a provider of asset-light transportation solutions, and transportation fintech company Triumph have expanded their partnership to offer new financial tools and services, including factoring and payments, to carriers. RXO has launched RXO Extra | Factoring, a Triumph-powered offering that includes Factoring as a Service and Triumph’s LoadPay digital banking solution for carriers. Factoring as a Service is a white-labeled solution powered by the Triumph Network that enables brokers to offer branded factoring and payment services directly to carriers. It combines Triumph’s funding and technology infrastructure to help brokers improve carrier cash flow and strengthen relationships. LoadPay is Triumph’s purpose-built digital bank account for carriers, allowing payments to be received in minutes on approved invoices. Users of TrueTMS’s TrueFleet and TrueLiquid platforms will now receive complimentary access to mapping, routing and mileage calculation capabilities through Trimble Maps and PC Miler – integrated directly into TrueTMS workflows at no additional cost. This partnership between TrueTMS and Trimble provides TrueFleet users with access to the most efficient and cost-effective routes, with real-time traffic and weather considerations tailored for truck-specific restrictions. It also provides accurate mileage data for billing, driver payroll and fuel tax reporting. Additionally, users can eliminate empty miles with better dispatching and improved visibility into driver locations and ETAs with advanced mapping for geofencing and tracking assets. TrueLiquid users get specialized routing for factors like hazmat routes, bridge clearances, and weight restrictions; accurate mileage data for calculating freight charges and optimizing delivery schedules for liquid commodities; detailed road network data to ensure compliant routes; and streamline routing for faster deliveries and lower operational expenses.
