android-truckloads-listTrucker Path, creator of a popular planning app for American truck drivers, announced that its transportation marketplace app, Truckloads, has reached 100,000 downloads.  The app was publicly released in April 2016.

With Truckloads, freight companies can access available trucking capacity across North America and Canada. Likewise, motor carriers can find and book loads efficiently using a process that includes free access to detailed freight brokerage credit information, the company says.

More than 400 freight brokers post 1,200,000 loads per month on Truckloads to the a community of owner-operators who use the app to search for loads and post their availability. According to the data from Truckloads, the top 5 states by loads posted are Alabama, Texas, Georgia, Arkansas, and North Carolina. During seasonal highs, Truckloads helps move 5 to 10 percent of the freight in North America, representing $15-30B annually, the company says.
