Ryder participated this week in #GivingTuesday, a nationwide event that encourages charitable service to nonprofit organizations.Over 220 Ryder employees across 50 Ryder commercial rental locations participated in charitable events across the U.S. on Tuesday in honor of #GivingTuesday.
Activities included volunteering at local food banks and community outreach facilities, making bagged lunches, and conducting toy drives for local community centers.
#GivingTuesday, now in its fourth year, is a campaign to create a national day of giving at the start of the annual holiday season. The campaign celebrates and encourages charitable activities that support nonprofit organizations.
