The Volvo T-Ride suspension for both on- and off-highway applications, such as waste haulers, features a parabolic tapered spring pack that is upside down and mounted outside the frame rails. A cushion sits on each axle and is bolted to the end of each spring to help absorb shock and vibration, while four lower torque rods help control braking and acceleration forces.
