Advantage Air-Ride suspension

Dana Corp.’s Ride & Control Systems Division, Toledo, Oh., introduced a new, integrated trailer suspension module designed specifically to meet the unique needs of the van trailer and refrigerated trailer markets. The AdVantage Trailer Air Ride Suspension has tandem weight capacity ratings from 36,000 to 46,000 lb. The AdVantage Trailer Air Ride Suspension Module features:

  • A design that minimizes weight, yet maintains strength;
  • A Stay-Align feature that reduces tire wear;
  • EZ-Pull technology that improves performance and
    reduces maintenance;
  • A ride-height lock mechanism that eliminates dock walk;
  • A rigid axle-to-beam connection that improves alignment and reduces maintenance;
  • A 146-mm axle tube that provides greater strength with reduced weight;

    • Single or double anchor-pin brakes provide parts commonality between the tractor and trailer, allowing for parts inventory reduction.
