Extended headlamp life

Truck-Lite, Falconer, N.Y., released Headlamp Extender, a product that limits electric headlamp current to 12.8 volts. The product is designed to stabilize headlamp current and eliminate voltage spikes that can shorten lamp life. Truck-Lite says 12.8 volts is the best balance for headlamp brightness and long-life. The Extender also reduces shock damage from hard startups.
