Kinedyne’s Rhino Web, an abrasion-resistant webbing for cargo control tie-down straps yields 30 percent more tensile strength after severe abrasion and is 30 percent thicker with a tougher surface, the company says. Service indicator lines, in compliance with CVSA standards, are included on the back of the webbing.
Rhino Web is tested with a 2,000-cycle test using the rough corner of a cement block with 33 pounds attached to it, which the company says is more demanding than a standard abrasion test. It is available in 2- and 4-inch straps.
