IRS offers faster dispute resolution

Internal Revenue Service launched a pilot program aimed at cutting the time it takes to resolve disputes between the tax agency and corporate taxpayers. The pilot, a joint effort of the Large and Mid-Size Business Division and the Office of Appeals, focuses on resolving outstanding issues early on during the examination process.
