The new set includes three 7-minute videos, Truck Stop Accidents, Yard Spotting and Defensive Driving. Truck Stop Accidents reviews safety techniques when entering, fueling, backing, parking and exiting truck stops. Yard Spotting reviews safe and efficient operation of yard tractors and day cabs and skills such as coupling and uncoupling, backing and proper use of mirrors. Defensive Driving reviews aspects of defensive driving such as visual scanning, identifying and dealing with road hazards and communicating with other motorists.
Each video includes a tip-filled instructor’s bulletin and 10 driver skill cards. The set is available for $169, and videos are also sold separately for $60 each.
