Safety symposium set for Knoxville

The University of Tennessee’s Center for Transportation Research and the National Safety Council are hosting a three-day meeting in April on safety issues involving trucks and buses. The 2002 International Large Truck and Bus Safety Research & Policy Symposium is slated for April 3-5 in Knoxville, Tenn. The meeting, co-sponsored by key government agencies, trade associations and others, features the presentation and discussion of research relating to drivers, data analysis, management, new technology and enforcement.
