ArvinMeritor now offers Meritor Remanufactured Brake Shoes. The company produces more than 300 remanufactured shoes and 250 remanufactured kits that cover nearly 90 different brake types and sizes with 12 Meritor friction materials available, the company says. Assembly technicians inspect brake shoes and then put them through a remanufacturing process, which includes washing, de-lining, shot blasting, re-lining, riveting and a final inspection.
