Prophesy Transportation Solutions (www.mile.com) announces the latest release of its ShipperPlus and ShipperTPL software. New features include a MS/SQL server version designed to accommodate large users; multi-pick and multi-drop load building; pooling; pallet stacking and cross-docking capabilities; and improvements in speed and effectiveness of load building algorithms. These new capabilities are all significant enhancements that have been carefully refined through customer input, the company says.
The feature of greatest interest to the industry, the company says, is the ability to easily consolidate orders into shipments. These shipments can then be rated and built into the most efficient and cost-effective multi-stop truckloads. The information automatically flows to dispatcher for carrier assignment.
