Dry lubricant

CRC Industries’ Dry Glide is a PTFE-based, dry film lubricant that features a low coefficient of friction to prevent sticking and wear. Dry Glide penetrates and bonds a micro-thin film to most surfaces, including metal, wood, rubber and plastic. The company says it is ideal for sliding mechanisms and light load lubrication in dusty environments. It dries quickly to a surface coating that is stable between -40 and 450 degrees F and will not melt, freeze or wash off, the company says. It is available in 16-ounce aerosol containers.
