Hendrickson’s Boxed Dump Valve is designed for installation on Vantraxx and all K-2 trailer slider boxes. It provides a manual dump control fitted in a protective enclosure to shield the valve from the elements and road debris. The control features a ball valve, brass body and chrome plated brass ball. The ball rides in Teflon seals to resist wear, the company says.
The unit is predrilled with holes to bolt directly to the Quik-Draw panel on the driver side of the K-2 slider. A top flange on the mounting panel also allows the unit to be mounted by bolting or welding below any trailer floor cross members or other structural members. It also features a rubber strap to keep the door closed when in the latched position, a large T-handle for easy opening and locking and a mounting panel with heavy zinc plating and a stainless steel hinge.
