Although the companies compete in the document imaging business, McLeod Software (www.mcleodsoftware.com) and TMI (www.trippakonline.com) last month announced an interfaces agreement that will increase the options available to their mutual customers. The integration will give users of McLeod’s LoadMaster Document and Imaging Workflow products faster access to scanned documents and give users of McLeod’s LoadMaster dispatch and accounting software better access to TMI’s TripPak Online document management solution.
The interface agreement makes it easier for TMI to market its imaging solution to existing McLeod customers. But McLeod’s imaging solution gets a boost from the arrangement as well. McLeod’s imaging customers can now use TMI’s TripPak Scanning, an overnight image capture service, giving McLeod’s imaging customers access to outsourced scanning that places documents into a carrier’s workflow system several days or more faster than traditional delivery options.
