Pilot Travel Centers (www.pilottravelcenters.com) will offer Pegasus TransTech’s Transflo Express document-scanning services (www.transflo.com) at its fuel desks, providing fleets with instant access to trip documents. Pilot will place Transflo Express scanning systems in all 236 travel centers nationwide.
The Pilot/Pegasus arrangement requires no special training for drivers. Trained cashiers scan a driver’s trip documents and hand the original documents to the driver along with a confirmation receipt. Images are immediately available to the fleet operators for retrieval, billing and driver settlements.
Carriers with existing imaging systems may retrieve the documents and place them directly into their in-house imaging and workflow systems with a Pegasus TransTech-provided Gateway system. Companies without an imaging system can use the Transflo ASP Image Warehouse or receive the images via e-mail for immediate processing.
