The FleetCross Electronic Reference System from Service Professionals Inc., Rochester, N.Y., covers all makes and classes of North American vehicles, and provides a single look-up software package, according to the company.

The package comprises eight service, parts and labor reference modules that allow users to: find information by vehicle unit or VIN; cross-reference millions of OEM and aftermarket part numbers; check standard labor allowances; create an order or estimate; manage inventory; prepare warranty claims and more.

Using VMRS (TMC’s standard Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standard) codes, more than 1,200 manufacturers and over 15 million part references are covered, including applications for heavy and medium-duty trucks, trailers, buses, light trucks, autos, off-road equipment and recreational vehicles.

FleetCross is continually updated to cover real shop situations, such as allowing extra time for stripped or corroded fasteners. The system can operate as a stand-alone, or on a network, while electronic linkage of the modules allows for seamless navigation, and enables posting to a printable screen, file or outside system, according to Service Professionals.
