GEOCOMtms (www.geocom-usa.com) announced the release of A.MAZE 2.0, a routing optimization tool designed for large P&D and LTL fleets. Capabilities of A.MAZE 2.0, which is based on scalable Web-services components, include Real Time Feedback and Response (RTFR), fast geocoding and cartography access and the ability to handle an even larger number of constraints.

TMW Systems (www.tmwsystems.com) signed a contract with Beijing Kintetsu World Express Co. Ltd. to supply the Chinese carrier with its TMWSuite client-server based enterprise solution. The contract flows from TMW’s strategic alliance with Guangdong South Satellite Telecommunications Service Co. Ltd. to market and sell the TMWSuite trucking information management system in China.

Comdata Corp. (www.comdata.com) announced availability of CabCARD Personal Communications, a service it developed jointly with Qualcomm. CabCARD is a pre-paid service that provides drivers with discounted rates on e-mail, long distance telecommunications and voice mail through the in-cab Qualcomm system.

Maddocks Systems (www.maddockssystems.com), developer of the TruckMate for Windows (TM4Win) enterprise-wide trucking software, launched TruckMate University Online, which allows TruckMate users to receive unlimited online software training for a flat monthly subscription price. TM4Win users can access “live” training sessions and a complete archive of recorded sessions.
