The Great American Trucking Show, held Sept. 6-8 in Dallas, drew 36,330 attendees and exhibitors, show management reported. The show drew trucking professionals from all 50 states and 35 countries.

“We were more than pleased with the turn out, not just in quantity, but also in quality,” said Warren Sellers, show manager for Sellers Expositions. Sellers said that a large promotion campaign made GATS the second largest trucking show this year in terms of exhibitors and attendees.

“GATS was an excellent show,” says Susan Alt, vice president of marketing for Volvo Trucks North America, which exhibited at GATS. “We were encouraged by the volume of traffic and genuine interest in our product.”

Next year’s GATS is slated for Sept. 26-28. For more information, visit this site.
