Synergistic Systems announced plans to modify its Synergy Dispatch application for LTL carriers to run on RIM’s 950 and 957 wireless hand-helds. Synergistic’s new “Lite Line” solution on RIM hand-helds will provide all the Synergy Dispatch basics: P&D route summary with pickup and delivery details; real-time pickup calls from dispatch; the ability to capture detailed pro information on pickups; real-time P&D statusing for stops (done, not done) and messaging.
Using RIM hand-helds creates a level of affordability backed with flexibility and power that will allow more LTL carriers to arm their fleets with mobile, real-time communications, says Lee Wintrode, president of Synergistic Systems.
