DOT to revise drug-testing form
The Department of Transportation has proposed to revise the management information system (MIS) forms used by six of its agencies, including the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, to standardize the information collected throughout the agencies and reduce the amount of data reported by transportation employers.

Many data elements will no longer be part of the MIS form because the agencies have determined that the information was available from other reports, was available through inspections, reviews or audits or was no longer needed.
