Microdea Inc. and TMW Systems announced that they have jointly integrated Microdea’s Synergize document imaging software into the TMWSuite enterprise software. The Synergize document imaging will enhance TMWSuite by enabling transport companies to view, print or fax scanned documents via the Internet.


iNet-Blue Corporation announced the release of TraXall Pigeon S, an Internet-based trailer tracking system. The Pigeon S is a small, low-cost, battery powered unit that can operate up to five years at two reports per day. When tractor and trailer are connected, the unit can use vehicle power for more frequent reporting rates.


NSI Global Inc. announced that its Vistar unit entered a value added reseller agreement with Thermo King. Under the agreement, Thermo King will deploy Vistar’s GlobalWave asset management and tracking system as part of its Trac-King system to provide satellite communication capability throughout North America. Trac-King is an Internet-based system that provides fleets with the ability to monitor, track and control Thermo King refrigeration units.


Prophesy Software announced record sales of its Prophesy Dispatch software to 200 trucking companies in 2002. Ninety-eight units were sold in the fourth quarter alone, which the company attributes to the release of Version 4. The base package includes rating, freight billing, driver settlements and advances, general ledger and payroll, vehicle maintenance, brokerage capabilities and management and fuel tax reporting.
