The median salary for the top financial executive at a trucking company is $100,500. The median for an operations manager is $62,950. These are just two of the various salaried positions covered by a new publication from the American Trucking Associations’ National Accounting & Finance Council.
The 2001 ATA Salaried Employee Compensation Survey covers executive and middle-management compensation at 148 general freight and specialized carriers nationwide. Data was submitted by corporate executives responsible for compensation planning and administration within their organizations and is current as of July 1, 2001. The previous survey was conducted in 1997.
