Teletrac, a provider of metropolitan and regional fleet location information systems, introduced Trailer and Asset Tracking Units – devices that are intended to increase the security of commercial vehicle trailers and mobile assets and provide inventory management.
The Teletrac units, which are installed in a piece of equipment or a truck trailer, report location information to the operator or owner if they move, have been stopped for a pre-set time period or move outside of a defined geographical zone.
Teletrac’s partnership with Numerex Corp. enables nationwide coverage in the United States and coverage in Mexico and Canada through Numerex’s Cellemetry network.
