Maddocks Systems Inc. announced the release of TruckMate for Windows 6.0 (TM4Win), a product of nearly two years’ research of the changing needs of the transportation industry, says Bob Maddocks, president and CEO of Maddocks Systems Inc.
Maddocks has been developing transportation solutions in the Windows environment for eight years. Having previously completed the core dispatching and operational functionality of TruckMate, Maddocks is now enhancing its product with features targeting specific trucking segments. TruckMate Version 6.0 has complete programs for handling intermodal transportation, specialized tank hauling and expanding the TM4 Web Internet module.
“We see the transportation industry being defined by two distinct groups of companies: diversified carriers and specialized fleets,” Maddocks says. “Diversified carriers want the flexibility of offering any range of transportation services while specialized carriers need a high level of functionality for one type of hauling.”
