Pegasus TransTech said Quality Distribution, a Tampa, Fla.-based carrier operating more than 3,200 tanker trucks, is implementing the Transflo Express truck stop scanning solution. Quality also has deployed 110 terminal scanning stations and has installed the Transflo document imaging and workflow system. Pegasus has helped Quality take three days out of its billing cycle, says Keith Margelowsky, the carrier’s senior vice president.


Vital Chek Network, a subsidiary of ChoicePoint, introduced a new trucking permit application solution, PermitWizard Online. Trucking companies can apply for multiple state oversize and overweight permits using a single online application.


Rand McNally announced that Innovative Computing Corporation (ICC) has selected its MileMaker software for rating and routing capabilities in ICC’s new Enterprise Business Server Provider (BSP) applications, Access and Access Plus. Access is designed for trucking companies with fewer than 100 trucks; Access Plus is intended for larger companies. ICC’s own IBM iSeries platform server hosts both products.
