Caterpillar Engine Div., Mossville, Ill., has received emissions certification by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for the company’s third engine equipped with ACERT (Advanced Combustion Emissions Reduction Technology). Full production of the C15 engine, offered in the 435 to 550 horsepower range, will begin in the third quarter of this year.
