Volvo Trucks North America employees, represented by United Auto Workers, have ratified a three-year labor agreement.
The agreement — ratified on April 2 — covers about 2,800 members of UAW Local #2069 at the New River Valley, Va., plant. The new contracts are effective as of Feb. 1, 2005, and will expire on Jan. 31, 2008.
Volvo Trucks North America assembles its Volvo VN and VHD trucks at the ISO14001- and ISO9001-certified New River Valley Plant.
