International, Altec donate 10 trucks for tsunami rebuilding

International Truck and Engine Corporation and Altec Industries plan to send 10 commercial trucks to Thailand to help with the tsunami rebuilding effort.

International and Altec announced May 17 that they are sending the trucks to Thailand with the assistance of the Thailand International Development Corporation.

The Dec. 26, 2004, earthquake that triggered the tsunami registered more than 9.0 on the Richter scale. The resulting tsunami left more than 300,000 people dead or missing.
