Cadiz, Kentucky will soon be home to Benson International’s fourth manufacturing facility. A groundbreaking ceremony will take place June 14 at 2 p.m. at Industrial Park 3 in Cadiz, Kentucky.

Construction on the 180,000 square foot manufacturing facility will begin on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 and is scheduled to be completed in late December. In January, limited operations will begin with full production starting in March 2006.

The new facility will give Benson International the ability to have multiple production lines and meet the current and future market needs, while allowing production at Benson’s current facilities to concentrate more on the product demand of the local markets. In turn, Benson is currently expanding its sales force on a national basis, as well as, its dealer and distribution network.

Among those attending Tuesday’s ceremonies will be Kentucky Governor Ernie Fletcher, James “Buck” Harless, chairman of the board of International Industries, Inc., parent company of Benson International, Inc., Gary White, president of International Industries, Inc., and Donnie Holland, president of Benson International, Inc.

Benson International, Inc. has manufacturing facilities in Mineral Wells, W.Va., Meyersdale, Penn. and Oneida, Tenn.
