UFS Insight’s motor carrier seminar on border crossing, originally scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 24 has been moved to Friday, Aug. 26 to better accommodate the traveling schedule of those planning to attend the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas, set for Thursday-Saturday, Aug. 25-27.
The seminar will be held at the Quality Inn Dallas Market Center from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Debbie Dent, president of D. Dent and Associates, will present the “Crossing Borders For A New Era” seminar, which is aimed at assisting carriers with cross-border compliance.
Topics will include a detailed explanation of Free and Secure Trade for both the northern and southern borders, Advanced Cargo Reporting, ACE and e-Manifesting, release options, security initiatives and their impact on your business, and tips to secure compliance.
