Eaton Corp., maker of the Vorad collision avoidance system, will sponsor the awards dinner at the annual conference of the American Trucking Associations’ Safety & Loss Prevention Management Council in Miami on Oct. 7.
At the dinner, SLPMC will announce its Driver of the Year and Safety Director of the Year.
“These are among the two most prestigious safety awards in the trucking industry, and demonstrates the council’s genuine interest in advancing safety,” said Eaton’s Jeffrey Barylak, global marketing manager for Eaton’s Vorad collision warning system. “Because we are equally committed to safety, we decided to show our support for the council and its members for their hard work in advancing safety.”
As part of its awards dinner sponsorship, Eaton also will present attendees with commemorative souvenirs to recognize the members’ commitment to safety.
