Further expanding its NextLevel service initiative, Carrier Transicold has launched a preventive maintenance program for all brands of truck and trailer refrigeration units.

With standardized services and pricing, the program provides comprehensive inspection and care through Carrier Transicold’s dealer network in the United States and Canada.

Covered services include changing the engine oil and oil filter; belt adjustments; refrigerant level check; thorough test of the heat, cool and defrost cycles; purging of water and contaminants from the fuel tank; fuel filter replacement; inspection of the condenser and accessible evaporator coils; check of the air chute condition and air flow; an overall unit condition inspection and more.

Pricing for the new program is $114.95 for a truck refrigeration unit and $124.95 for a trailer unit at participating locations. Additionally, participants in Carrier’s Priority Gold credit card program receive a 5 percent rebate, plus automatic 2 percent rebates on any additional required Carrier Transicold Performance Parts or 20-Series parts used with competitive equipment. Program pricing remains in effect through April 2006.
