Pressure Systems International, a manufacturer of automatic tire inflation systems, has redesigned its patented Through-Tee to include a corrosion-resistant stainless-steel retaining ring.
The Meritor Tire Inflation System by PSI has new features engineered to address many environmental and safety issues facing truck fleets, including the devastating effects of corrosion. In addition, a larger longer-lasting stainless-steel tube in the latest Through-Tee design allows for higher airflow to the tire, the company says.
The latest design of the MTIS by PSI is available for new trailers as well as for retrofit to existing equipment and can be identified by the yellow deflector shield.
