Boyd Bros. has raised owner-operator pay by three cents per mile and made Blue Cross/Blue Shield its group health insurance administrator.
With the raise, owner-operators now can make as much as 95 cents per mile.
Boyd drivers also get free vision coverage through EyeMed, and the company recently added PrePassPlus to its company driver and owner-operator programs. The service allows drivers to bypass scales and pay tolls electronically.
